Golden Globe Nominations Announced

Congrats to Will Smith, Forest Whitaker, Jennifer Hudson, Beyonce Knowles, and Eddie Murphy! I'm so happy for them all. Golden Globe nods clearly mean Oscar nods as well.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony, scheduled for January 15.

The nominations for the 64th Golden Globes were announced Thursday morning in Los Angeles, California.

The nominees for best comedy or musical are "Borat," "The Devil Wears Prada," "Dreamgirls," "Little Miss Sunshine" and "Thank You for Smoking."

The nominees for best actor in a drama are Leonardo DiCaprio ("Blood Diamond" and "The Departed"), Peter O'Toole ("Venus"), Will Smith ("The Pursuit of Happyness") and Forest Whitaker ("The Last King of Scotland").


The nominees for best actress in a comedy or musical are Annette Bening ("Running with Scissors'), Toni Collette ("Little Miss Sunshine"), Beyonce Knowles ("Dreamgirls"), Meryl Streep ("The Devil Wears Prada") and Renee Zellweger ("Miss Potter").


The nominees for best supporting actor are Ben Affleck ("Hollywoodland"), Eddie Murphy ("Dreamgirls"), Jack Nicholson ("The Departed"), Brad Pitt ("Babel") and Mark Wahlberg ("The Departed").

The nominees for best supporting actress are Adriana Barraza ("Babel"), Cate Blanchett ("Notes on a Scandal"), Emily Blunt ("The Devil Wears Prada"), Jennifer Hudson ("Dreamgirls") and Kikuchi Rinko ("Babel").




Lil Jaden Smith Was Very Upset with His Daddy Will!!!


Will Smith's son Jaden once wrecked his father's plans to throw a huge birthday surprise for his wife, Jada. Jaden found it heartbreaking to lie to his mother. The young actor was left confused and upset by the little white lies his father asked him to tell his mom-in order to keep her birthday celebration a big surprise.

Will recalls, "I'm flying high school friends in, all of that stuff and we made a video for her birthday and she knew nothing about any of this. "The night before, Jaden comes in the room and he's crying and he said, 'I need to talk to you...Why are you making me lie to mommy? "I said, 'Well, what do you mean? and he said, 'Mommy asked me what we're doing tomorrow and I had to tell her a lie.' And I was like, 'Yeah, but that's a lie, right? Daddy, my stomach hurts and I can't sleep. I don't want to lie to my mommy. Can we wake her up? I have to tell her 'cause I'm getting sick.' "I was like, 'Wow, how can you argue with that? He went and told his mommy everything. He's so deeply connected to human emotion."
